Note these days of mobilization for health in your diaries
Global public health campaigns offer important opportunities to raise awareness ofhealth issues, promote a better understanding of the issues in this area and mobilizecommunities from the local level to the international level in order to act for ahealthier world.
Throughout the year, many world days are organized around problems of health ordiseases ranging from Alzheimer's disease to zoonoses.
WHO however pays special attention to seven days and week have been designatedby Member States of the Organization as being 'official' global public healthcampaigns:
